My Co-op Job

When I was in college, at the University of Illinois, I was a co-op student. If you don't know what that means, it pretty much means I alternated semesters of school and work. My co-op job was with NASA at Langley Research Center in Hampton, Virginia (in the area known as "Hampton Roads"). Overall, it was a great experience. But I sort of got spoiled, living 20 minutes away from a beach.

The places where I worked:

  • the Engineering Design Branch of the Aerospace Mechanical Systems Division
  • the Aerothermodynamics Branch of the Aero- and Gas-Dynamics Division
  • the Flow Modeling and Control Branch of the Fluid Mechanics and Acoustics Division.
